Richmond Hill Figure Skating Club (RHFSC) is a non-profit organization that has a long history of developing and training figure skaters. It has produced some world medalists and champion skaters in recent history. RHSFC is fully sanctioned by Skate Canada and has been serving our community since 1956. We provide accredited lessons to aspiring skaters of all ages and abilities at both the recreational and competitive levels.
RHFSC Winter season started on January 3 and a warm welcome to all skaters! A Welcome email was sent out in getting your child started for skating.
Introducing an additional Beginner Adults (Stage 1-4) session for Winter on Sundays at 12:50 - 1:35PM
Beginner Adult registrations have been very successful this Winter season. We decided to open up an additional session for Stages 1-4 only on Sundays at 12:50 to 1:30PM starting 20 January 2019, and sharing ice with our CanSkate session. Please see the revised Winter Brochure from the "Program Information" area of this website, or contact email@example.com for details.
Please remember that CanSkate or Beginner Adult skaters up to and including Stage 5 are required to wear a skating helmet. For Pre CanSkate sessions, a helmet with a FACE MASK is mandatory. The helmet must be CSA-approved hockey helmet, bike and/or ski helmets are not acceptable, and skaters will not be allowed on the ice without a skating helmet for safety reasons.
We continue to accept registrations on available seasons after the season has started, however these registrations may take up to a week to process and skaters will start their session one week later, eg, skater registered on 3 January 2019 will start their skating session on the week of 7 January 2019.
For Learn to Skate - limited spots available for PreCanSkate on Thursdays and Sundays only, CanSkate on Saturdays and Sundays only and PreNovice on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
