About Us


Richmond Hill Figure Skating Club (RHFSC) is a non-profit organization that has a long history of developing and training figure skaters. It has produced some world medalists and champion skaters in recent history.  RHSFC is fully sanctioned by Skate Canada and has been serving our community since 1956.  We provide accredited lessons to aspiring skaters of all ages and abilities at both the recreational and competitive levels.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SKATING IS SUSPENDED STARTING MARCH 13 (FRIDAY) AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

THE TOWN OF RICHMOND HILL HAS CLOSED ALL SKATING ARENAS UNTIL APRIL 5TH.  THIS IS ALSO IN LINE WITH DECISONS FROM THE LOCAL HOCKEY AND RINGETTE ASSOCIATIONS

We will provide further information on Spring Programs over the coming weeks

As more information becomes available from the Town of Richmond Hill and York Region Public Health (YRPH), we will make further adjustments as necessary

Priority Registration for 2020 Spring Season is now open - Register early and secure your spot!

Priority registration is open to our returning members from the current skating year

Spring registration will open to public on Wednesday, March 18

Winter Private Lesson Ticket Ice (PLTI) remains open until April 6, 2020

RHFSC members - if you wish to register extra sessions or change your registration, please contact administrator@rhfsc.on.ca for assistance

Join the Program Assistant (PA) Team!  Next PA training is on Jan 11, 2:30 to 3:30pm

If you haven't signed up as PA for 2019-20 skating year, go to Volunteering on the "Registration" area of our website to regster.

Returning PA's who did not attend the prior training in September are encouraged to join as a refresher training.

Please remember that CanSkate or Beginner Adult skaters up to and including Stage 5 are required to wear a skating helmet.  For Pre CanSkate sessions, a helmet with a FACE MASK is mandatory.  The helmet must be CSA-approved hockey helmet, bike and/or ski helmets are not acceptable, and skaters will not be allowed on the ice without a skating helmet for safety reasons.

Fall and winter skating sessions will be held at Elgin Barrow Arena, 43 Church St, Richmond Hill. 

Video and Photography except by coaches is prohibited on all sessions
